Birthday card, 2009

AI caption

A hand-drawn birthday card from Grandma Ruth, with pressed flowers on the cover and a long note inside about the summer you spent at the lake house.

Handwriting, transcribed

β€œMy dearest β€” every year I say you've grown too fast, and every year it's truer. Happy birthday from your biggest admirer. Love, Grandma.”

The signature experience

Handle them again

A greeting card isn't a flat picture β€” it opens. In Secure Sentiments, cards swing open like a book to reveal the message inside, and photos and letters flip in your hand to show their reverse. It's the closest thing to holding the original, on any screen.

  • πŸ“– Cards open front β†’ interior β†’ back, just like paper
  • πŸ”„ Photos and letters fold-flip to their reverse side

AI that reads handwriting

Every word, preserved and searchable

The message inside a card is the whole point β€” and the first thing lost when paper fades. After every upload, the handwriting on every side is transcribed automatically and a warm caption is written for the item. Years later, you can find a card by a phrase from the note inside it.

  • ✍️ Handwriting transcribed from every side, even the inside
  • πŸ’¬ Captions and tags written for you β€” always editable
  • πŸ”Ž Full search across names, captions, and transcriptions

Family sharing

Memories are better witnessed together

Share an album with exactly the people it belongs to. Your sister can browse Grandma's cards; your uncle can add the letters he kept. Everyone sees the same archive β€” nobody needs to raid the attic.

πŸ‘οΈ View β€” browse everything, change nothingβž• Contribute β€” add their own keepsakes

Built like a vault

A private archive, not a social feed

There are no public profiles, no likes, no algorithm. Your keepsakes are served through authenticated, access-checked requests β€” never public links β€” and membership itself is gated by personal invitation.

How it works

From kitchen table to permanent archive in about a minute per keepsake.

  1. 1

    Photograph each side

Front, inside, and back β€” straight from your phone or a scanner. Cards, photos, letters, and any small keepsake.

  2. 2

    AI reads and describes it

Every side is analyzed automatically: the handwriting is transcribed word for word, and a warm caption and tags are written for you.

  3. 3

    Relive it anytime

Open the card in 3D, search by the words inside, and share the album with the people who were there.

β€œSecure” is half the name for a reason

These are irreplaceable things. The architecture treats them that way.

Invite-only, by design

There is no public sign-up. Every member arrives through a personal invitation, so your archive lives in a small, trusted space.

No public image links

Every photo is served through an authenticated proxy. There are no public URLs to leak β€” if you aren't signed in and authorized, the image doesn't exist.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Uploads travel over TLS and are stored encrypted. Access to each album is checked on every request, not just at the front door.

Yours to keep β€” or delete

Deleting an item or album removes the stored images too, not just the listing. Your originals stay with you; the archive is yours to control.

Membership

Paid, invite-only β€” on purpose

Secure Sentiments is a paid membership rather than a free app, because your memories should be the product we protect β€” not the product we sell. Membership is currently by invitation, and your invite includes current pricing.

Have an invite code?

Questions, answered

How do I get an invite code?

Membership is by invitation from an existing member. If someone shared an album with you or invited you to preserve a family collection together, ask them for a code β€” each code is validated before sign-up.

What kinds of items can I preserve?

Greeting cards (front, inside, and back), photographs, letters, and other flat keepsakes like postcards, notes, and children's drawings. Cards get the full book-open 3D treatment; photos and letters flip to reveal their reverse side.

Who can see what I upload?

Only you, until you decide otherwise. You can share an album with specific people at view or contribute permission β€” viewers can look, contributors can add their own items. There are no public pages and no discovery feed.

What happens to the handwriting inside a card?

It's transcribed automatically after upload, alongside a warm AI-written caption and tags. The transcription is searchable β€” you can find a card years later by a phrase from the message inside β€” and you can edit anything the AI wrote.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. Secure Sentiments runs on the web and as a native iOS and Android app, with the same account, the same albums, and the same 3D card experience.

What does membership cost?

Secure Sentiments is a paid membership, kept invite-only while we grow carefully. Current pricing is shared along with your invitation.

Paper fades. The words don't have to.

Start with one shoebox. In an afternoon, it's an archive your whole family can hold onto.
